MGSL SPRING AND FALL SEASON PROGRAMS
Kindergarten - Fundamentals Division
The Fundamentals Division is an introductory skills, drills, and tee ball league for Kindergarten aged girls. All girls will hit off a tee to learn the proper mechanics of their swing. The goal of this league is to introduce the basic fundamentals of softball, while they have fun with their teammates. They will learn how to properly throw, field, and hit a 10" softball, as well as proper base running, including our famous relay races around the bases. Many age appropriate drills will be utilized to teach these skills, but the drills will look more like games to the girls. The season will starts out with drills and skills practices and then transition into tee ball games scattered throughout the season.
Depending upon enrollment, this program runs in the Spring and Fall on Saturdays at the Town Park fields.
Grades 1-2 - Instructional Division
